budget. bby is proud to present our seven sets of CRAYON
wipe-off mats designed to take the hassle out of hands-on
teaching.
So how do they work? Teachers and
students can use a regular, dark-colored crayon on our special
material to write equations, create graphs and tables, work
with time and money, learn number sense standards,
multiplication tables, addition, subtraction, symmetry… the
possibilities are endless. When you are finished with one idea
and wish to start with a blank slate, simply take a dry paper
towel, used dryer sheet, or old knee-high nylon hose
and wipe the crayon off; it's that easy.
Our crayon wipe-off mats are designed
with each child's learning needs in mind. Each set of mats has
an introductory and advanced side that can be used to comply
with every child's individual, academic level. The sets are
packaged in quantities of 25, with 24 student mats (8 1/2 X
11), and 1 teacher mat (11 X 17). The student mats can be used
with a standard clipboard, and are easy to store.

Jumbo
Crayola Washable crayon brand marks the best on the
mats.
Used
dryer sheets (fabric softener) wipe the crayon off very
easily. Have your children collect these instead of spending
budget money on paper towels.
Old nylon
hose, or knee-high
stockings are also used to wipe-off the crayons.

Twenty-grid-
This mat set can be used for many
activities. The ten and twenty-grids allow children to
visualize math, and the blank
space at the bottom of the mat provides space for sketching,
writing equations, etc. The introductory side has a ten-grid and the
advanced side has a twenty-grid. These can be used for various
levels of working with addition and subtraction facts, to
teach the number sense standards with more understanding.
