OUR SERVICES
Our consulting firm, Head-Pollett Consultants, Inc., is dedicated to improving elementary math education for all children. By working with their teachers, and sometimes with children, we strive to develop confident, efficient mathematicians who think that there is NO PROBLEM that they cannot solve!
Because each state and each school has individual needs, we provide many service options. Just as children learn in different ways, teachers and schools change in different ways. In spite of those differences, we have found that in order for elementary teachers to be GREAT MATH teachers, they must have many opportunities for continued professional growth as mathematicians and as teachers of mathematics.
We pride ourselves in providing the following services to elementary schools in school districts in 43 of the 50 states. Perhaps we can do the same for you. Let us talk to you about the needs of your teachers and children to determine which services would be most helpful to you.
PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT Head-Pollett Consultants, Inc. offers a wide range of professional development formats and topics.

The time is divided up between a Friday evening and a Saturday. Graduate credit can be arranged. |
2-4 DAY WORKSHOP Sometimes the single day option expands to encompass more days. For example, we may meet with grades K-1 on Monday, grades 2-3 on Tuesday, and grades 4-5 on Wednesday.
AFTER-SCHOOL SEMINARS A light meal or snack is often provided for these 2-3 hour seminars. Stipends may also be offered.
